Tyrone D. Smith was born September 1, 1985, in Tallahassee, Fl. He is the son of Dec. Arock and Sr. Apostle Virginia Smith. He is the youngest of three siblings. His parents advocated education, and constantly reinforced that the lives we live are a result of the decisions we make. At age 20 he was joined with Te-Aira Perkins Smith in Holy Matrimony on June 3, 2006. He is the Father of 3 children, Jeremiah C. Smith, Leidy’ Madison M. Smith and Jace I. Smith.

Education

Tyrone D. Smith graduated number three of Greensboro High School Class of 2003. He graduated with honors from Tallahassee Community College at age 18. In 2007, he applied to Florida A&M University and was accepted into the Political Science/Public Administration Major. While being a full time employee with Tallahassee Community College, a husband, minister, teacher, bus driver, and father, Smith graduated with Magna Cum Laude Honors from Florida A&M University.

Ministry

Bishop Smith began preaching at the age of 7 years old. His mother preserved this gifted passionate assignment of God until the age of 13, allowing him to only preach at home. At age 13, Smith preached publicly in a school play, which initiated uproar in the area. Following the event, in wisdom, his mother turned down offers and invitations for him to go forth in ministry. Pastor Smith confessed to being called to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, by hearing the audible voice of God, at the age of 17 years old. He began teaching Sunday school on the pre-school level at age 19. He preached his initial public sermon in 2006, after three years of Ministerial training. Minister Smith was licensed to preach the gospel in 2007.

• Minister Smith’s gifts and callings truly made room for him. As a result of the level of clarity, interest, and knowledge which was brought to teaching, along with his particular style of exhibiting the passion of scripture, Smith rather quickly climbed the spiritual ladder and emerged as one of the superior teachers of Sunday school, and bible study services. By 2008 Smith had become the Administrative Teacher of all Sunday School Curriculums, as well as the Teaching Elder of the Faith Cornerstone Apostolic Intra-denominational Organization Inc. His responsibilities entailed teaching all biblical teachers within the organization. Smith was elected to the position of Assistant Pastor of Faith Cornerstone Church Ministries Inc. in 2008, at the age of 22. Pastor Smith confessed hearing the audible voice of God call him to Pastor in September 2009. Upon receiving theology courses, he was appointed to the office of Elder in 2009.

• Elder Smith established theology of teaching courses at Faith Cornerstone Church Ministries Inc., which were designed to teach ministers and teachers how to efficiently and effectively present information to their audience, and how to provide meaningful concepts concerning their well-being, as well as, how to implement more effective and efficient ways of exhibiting the messages of scripture. Throughout his ministerial career, God has used him through the spirit of Divine Prophecy, healing of the sick, expelling demonic influence, counseling, inspiring the continual efforts of educational desire, evangelizing, etc.

Pastor Smith received his first T.V. interview in November 2012. As a result of the interview, Chipola College/University offered Pastor Smith the opportunity to be the host of his own television show; which began February 2012 entitled, “Life Changing Faith.” Smith has gone on to have multiple T.V. appearances. He was honored and humbled to be invited to minister on international T.V. on The Word Network with 200 countries and 90 million viewers. From the many opportunities he has been given, Pastor Smith has established community partnerships with the surrounding area, business owners, and community. Pastor Smith has developed many other partnerships, and assisted in an overwhelming amount of establishments, productions, and more, within his community. To all that meet him, they find an overflowing wealth of knowledge, with a “No NON-Sense” style of encouragement. To all that know him, his love for God supersedes everything else by far. Pastor Smith also established community partnerships with the surrounding area, and works tirelessly to enhance his community and region. Smith is the Founder and Sr. Pastor of Life Changing Faith Church, of Quincy, Florida(December 2013). As of August 2016 Smith became the youngest elected School Board Member to be elected to the governance of Gadsden County Public Schools.
